Congregation Nishmat Am is a vibrant spiritual center, creating a meaningful, dynamic Jewish environment that meets the spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of our members, and promotes unity in the greater Dallas Jewish community. We foster an atmosphere of family within the congregation and endeavor to instill pride in our identity and heritage while building a strong Jewish foundation for future generations.

Congregation Nishmat Am is a Synagogue community whose mission is to bring the teachings of the Torah into our daily lives, to plant love for our heritage and traditions in our hearts, to grow in our commitment to the State of Israel and its people, to bring together and inspire a wide spectrum of the Jewish population to pray, sing, and learn together in an environment that embodies holiness, spirituality and joy.  We foster an atmosphere of family within the congregation and endeavor to instill pride in our identity and heritage while building a strong Jewish foundation for future generations.

Led by our esteemed Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen and Cantor Jacob Cohen, services are "Traditional Egalitarian" and conducted in a manner that promotes congregational interaction through singing and participation.
